			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This video shows the Plastic Extrusion process for Unbonded Post-Tensioning.  Raw materials include steel PC Strand, corrosion-inhibiting Post Tensioning coating and HDPE plastic with color concentrate.</p>
<p>The steel strand is moving at over 200 feet per minute in the extrusion machine. First the steel PC strand is coated with corrosion-inhibiting Post-Tension Coating (&#8220;grease&#8221;). Then, the coated steel has either 40ml or 50ml of HDPE (high-density-polyethylene) plastic extruded over it. Finally, the extruded strand is cooled within a long trough of chilled water.</p>
