U.S. PC Strand Industry Files Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Cases Against China By admin, on May 28th, 2009 5/27/09 Three domestic producers of prestressed concrete steel wire strand (“PC strand”) filed antidumping and countervailing duty petitions today charging that dumped and subsidized imports of PC strand from the People’s Republic of China cause material injury to the domestic industry.
In January 2004, the Commission levied anti-dumping duties on PC Strand supplied by Brazil, India, Korea, Mexico and Thailand. Anti-dumping duties have been levied against Japan in the past.
